There are Pregnancy and Birth message boards all over the Internet.

Here are a few of the ones we like the most.

The Earthy Birthy Thought Swap ~ My favorite birth board. I wish I belonged there sometimes but I can't keep up with them. :)

BirthJunkie ~ Charity Gregson's message board. Christian, UC and large family friendly.

BirthLove ~ Leilah McCracken's board for women healing the birth experience. North American contact forums too. (A members only site)

Unassisted Childbirth ~ Author Laura Shanley's website now has forums!

AlternaMommies ~ For families parenting outside the conventional wisdom of the day. (board appears to be abandonded, but there's still some neat info...)

Parent's Place (ivillage) ~ A lot of interesting boards here but this link will take you to the "unassisted birth" forums.

Midwifery Today ~ Lots of traffic and a strong pro-midwife bias (not too surprising...)

Mothering Magazine ~ Lots of traffic and diversity.

Enlightened Parenting

These sites aren't so childbirth focused but they're still awfully progressive.

Taking Children Seriously ~ This child rearing philosophy isn't easily understood but it has the potential to empower you and your children if you work with the theories. This link is for the home page which has been set up in blog format.
